David Lapinski is well-traveled in the culinary world, carving a path to Pine Canyon that wound through Florida, Maine, Virginia, Louisiana, New York, California and Massachusetts before bringing him to Arizona. Once here, Lapinski opened Scottsdale’s Capital Grille and served as executive chef at The Estancia Club, a private golf club near Pinnacle Peak in Scottsdale A graduate of Johnson and Wales University, Lapinski is certified by the American Culinary Federation and earned a spot in Walt Disney World’s Apprenticeship Program. During his tenure as executive chef at Sidewalkers in Manhattan, Gourmet magazine awarded the restaurant positive reviews. His culinary background includes classical French cuisine, southern fare and coastal standards with a creative twist. Lapinski has been lauded for his creativity and culinary prowess, recognized by both peers and patrons for the success he’s experienced with start-ups and menu design.
